  • Presented by: Jonathon Lack, Family and Juvenile Court Commissioner, King County Superior Court
  • Join us for a discussion with Commissioner Lack, who will be providing an overview of general rules and practice tips for working with opposing counsel and public or self-represented parties.

AI, the legal profession, and current issues

  • Presented by: Mark Chinen, Professor, Seattle University School of Law
  • Take a deep dive into the world of artificial intelligence with Professor Chinen, who will discuss the uses of AI in the legal profession and its ethical implications, including what lawyers should know about AI in light of Rule 1.1.

The new challenges of privacy regulation and data protection in an AI world

  • Presented by: Alex Alben, Professor, University of Washington School of Law and University of California, Los Angeles School of Law
  • Explore the current landscape of private regulation in the U.S. with Professor Alben, including a discussion on new state privacy laws and ethical issues relating to data collection and compliance.
